Employee Spotlight: Ken Ruckriegel

Ken Ruckriegel plays a big role in driving Rodem’s growth across the Southeast. As our Southeast Regional Sales Manager, he oversees outside sales in twelve states and works closely with seven Account Managers to help them grow revenue while balancing both MRO and project sales.

Ken brings an experienced, practical sales mindset to the team. Whether it’s improving purchase order success rates, supporting complex projects, or identifying high-margin new account opportunities, he’s focused on helping his team work smarter and win more business.

What Ken enjoys most about working at Rodem is the people. He loves partnering with our employees and customers to develop solutions that truly create win-win outcomes. Every day brings a new challenge — and with it, the opportunity to think creatively and tailor solutions to different personalities, industries, and needs. We appreciate Ken’s leadership, dedication, and the energy he brings to supporting both his team and our customers. Thanks for all you do, Ken!

What's your best Rodem memory?

Attending a Fisa managers conference at Amelia Island, Florida.  It was such an enjoyable time getting to know so many others in our industry, with excellent food, drinks, music and dancing.

What’s the best piece of professional advice someone has given you?

If you can approach each and everyday with a positive vigorous attitude, always demonstrating character and integrity, while in pursuit of the most right thing, then all aspects of your work will fall into the right place.

What is a special skill or talent you have?

Over the years I have really come to understand the buying and reselling of things. This involves a persons mindset based on a particular presentation.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?

I really enjoy connecting with nature by walking, hiking, cycling, or kayaking.  I find it to be an excellent way of hitting my reset button from the busy responsibilities of my days.

Do you have a personal philosophy that drives you?

Today I will do what most people won’t, so tomorrow I can do what most people can’t.
