Dave Adler joined Team Rodem on August 3rd as Account Manager for Georgia and Florida, bringing more than a decade of compressed air sales experience along with a career path that’s anything but typical. Most recently, Dave worked with compressor manufacturers Gardner Denver and Quincy Compressor, building deep expertise in the industry before joining Rodem.
Dave’s path to compressed air sales wasn’t a straight line. He started his career as a Deputy Sheriff, working uniform patrol while also becoming a certified rescue diver and earning his helicopter pilot certification. From there, he went on to own and operate three businesses of his own: a hardwood flooring company, a construction company serving residential and commercial clients, and a commercial trucking company that eventually took him to the oil fields of North Dakota. When the oil market slowed, Dave shifted into sales, starting with hydraulic equipment before finding his way to compressed air and, eventually, back home to Georgia.
Outside of work, Dave is a father of nine and grandfather of six. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, whitewater canoeing, SCUBA diving, fishing, hunting, and the occasional skydive, and he’s currently working toward his fixed-wing pilot endorsement.
