John started at Rodem part-time in the shop when he was in high school and worked in our warehouse and as an installation foreman before becoming a project manager in early 2024. Rodem is in John’s blood, being the oldest grandson (and namesake… his real name is Robert John!) of founder Bob Diener, he is one of eight third-generation family members who work here. With Rodem since 2006, John has worked in shipping and receiving, procurement, and installation, but has found his niche running small crews for fieldwork.

John calls Southeastern Indiana home where he enjoys any type of outdoor recreation, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
