Employee Spotlight: Michael Canann
Senior software engineer, Mike Canann, works in software development for Rodem’s CRM, ERP, web apps, and more.
Mike is a newer member of our team, starting in November of 2023, but brings a wealth of experience to Rodem’s IT team. A fun fact about Pleasant Run Farms resident Mike, is that he has had many interesting careers in his life spending 7 years as a volunteer firefighter and 12 years working for a radio station.
What songs are on your work playlist?
Just about any EDM song. A good example is from the radio station DJFM (online at djfm.ca).
What’s the best piece of professional advice someone has given you?
The only way to do great work is to love what you do.
Do you have a personal philosophy that drives you?
Make a positive impact on the world. Whether through small acts of kindness or larger contributions.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
Chess, Cycling, and spending time with family.
