Description

The Ampco SP Series self-priming liquid ring pumps are ideal for products with entrained air and CIP return applications. Planned or unplanned, entrained air (gas mixed with a process liquid) can be the cause of noise, vibration, seal failure, general performance reduction, or eventual pump failure.

The SP is built with tight manufacturing tolerances to handle entrained air conditions while maintaining efficient production levels. A unique vane-shaped or wagon wheel style impeller design makes the SP capable of handling shear sensitive products efficiently while maintaining peak pump performance.
