Rodem Assists with Alfa Laval Product Maintenance Training at $2 Billion Facility
Rodem recently assisted with Alfa Laval Product Maintenance Training for newly hired Maintenance Supervisors at the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the US. This facility is being constructed in North Carolina at a cost of $2 Billion. The Engineering firm specified a large number of Alfa Laval products and the new Maintenance Group needed training. That’s where Rodem stepped in! As the facility is still under construction, there were no Maintenance Shop facilities available. We improvised and held the 2 day training at an offsite facility and put our Rodem Garner location to use for some hands-on sessions. Both Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Management were onsite and are charged with taking this info back to the Maintenance Techs upon hire. We were joined by our manufacturing partners and experts from Alfa Laval. Kurt Kjellerup from Alfa Laval in Kolding, Denmark hosted the training on Sanitary Centrifugal Pumps, Sanitary Lobe Pumps and Tank Cleaning Equipment. Kristi Smith from Alfa Laval Heat Exchanger Service Division based in Charlotte, NC covered the training on Plate Heat Exchangers. Mark Ream, Business Development Manager with Alfa Laval Service Division in Kenosha was also on hand for corporate support. Our Account Manager received this comment from the customer after the training:
